A Forgotten Splendor (Secret Society)

-Kamari

In the heart of a forgotten city square,

Where echoes of laughter have long since faded,

Stands an angel, silent and still,

Enveloped in the embrace of winding vines.

Her wings, once spread wide in flight,

Now draped with the weight of forgotten dreams,

As sunlight filters through the tangled canopy,

Casting shadows that dance upon her weathered form.

Upon a pedestal of weathered stone,

She stands, a sentinel of a bygone era,

Her gaze fixed upon the ground below,

A reflection of the sorrow etched upon her stone features.

Her beauty, frozen in time,

A testament to the passage of days,

Yet behind her tranquil facade,

Lies a story of hardship and despair.

For in this frozen city centre,

Where time stands still and memories linger,

She remains a silent witness to the passage of time,

A guardian of secrets lost to the ages.
